HDL WORKS SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH MONARCH
TECHNOLOGIES AND ACTIAS TECHNOLOGIES

October 2004. HDL Works, announced that it has expanded it's worldwide sales channel with Monarch Technologies as a representative in the USA and Actias Technologies as a distributor in France.

The agreements with Monarch Technologies and Actias Technologies include both front-end HDL design tools; EASE and HDL Companion.
EASE, graphical HDL design entry environment excells from it's competitors by offering a stable environment that is intuitive while generating optimized and readable HDL output for complex VHDL, Verilog and mixed language designs.
HDL Companion provides an easy way to explore complex HDL code, either to get knowledge about that code or to manage complex designs. HDL Companion is text-based, and fits in any design flow.

With seven offices in the USA and many years of EDA experience, Monarch Technologies has excellent coverage to serve the US market plus Canada. Bill Hoolhorst (CEO) explained "We are very pleased to add HDL Works to our EDA product portfolio.
